Lohada’s Camp Joshua and Camp Moses are orphanages/schools that provide a place of education and refuge for homeless children in Arusha, Tanzania. Camp Joshua and Camp Moses are home to over 140 children, most orphaned by the loss of the families to AIDS. We have been working with these schools for 12 years, putting on soccer clinics and tournaments, supplying them with volunteer teachers, providing them with text books, school desks, bunk beds, mattresses, food supplies and we built them a soccer field. With such a large number of children taking refuge at Camp Joshua and Camp Moses, and more coming in, there is a big need for outside help so that the children can continue to receive a good education, proper nutrition and a safe place to sleep. Here is an idea of supplies that we could provide for the children at Camp Joshua and Camp Moses if you are willing to join our team and fundraise for the Lohada orphanage project.
